In 1991, the exhibition “My Mediterranean” was inaugurated in Palma, and later traveled to Barcelona, Valencia and Houston. It offered Catany’s vision of the Mediterranean, built from numerous trips, and reflected the territories and their people without prejudice, seeking beauty in geographical landscapes that also became emotional landscapes.

It gained great recognition and was a milestone in Catany’s artistic career. More than thirty years later, we update “My Mediterranean” recovering its essences, presenting the period copies, with their richness and diversity, and others that incorporate techniques explored later by Catany.
