FotoCineColor is a proposal of Sant Josep és Foto designed to enjoy the moving image from a slow, sensitive and open to dialogue with other disciplines. A space where photography, documentary, literature and contemporary art meet to generate new readings and new emotions.
When photography intersects with cinema, memory and artistic creation, things happen.

Compass of silence. Jean Marie del Moral – Miquel Barceló
Photographer Jean Marie del Moral first entered the studio of artist Miquel Barceló in the 1980s. That first portrait marked the beginning of a relationship that has lasted four decades. A dialogue in which the image takes center stage over words and documents the evolution of the painter from Felanitx, Mallorca.
The key stations of this suggestive and singular journey pass through the artist’s studios in Paris, Mali, Mallorca, Palermo, Vietri, Gao, Naples or Barcelona, spaces intimately linked to Barceló’s evolution and captured by Del Moral’s camera. A silent gaze, slow and also in constant development.
